So time is running out for me to make a decision in shifitng company from A to B. I am currently on Opt Extension, which expires on June 1st 2010. I got my petition approved, but my change of status was denied.

I need your guidance and suggestions in making my future decisions? The reason was stated as : The status previously accorded the worker had expired before this petition was filed. Unless there is more to the story, you are currently in F1 status assuming that you are not violating OPT rules (e.g., you must be employed in your major field of study --- you cannot keep looking for job on OPT more than 3 months or so, IIRC). You will go out of status from June 1, 2010 and so you should go out of US on or before that date.

Therefore, the worker si not eligible for change of status. Then you need to get H1-B visa stamp from a consulate abroad (usually it has to be the consulate in your home country for the first stamping) and reenter US.

Make sure that you are not violating any OPT rules --- maybe USCIS thought that you are and that is why they denied COS?

Hello all, My I-140 was approved in EB2 with company B from TSC with PD:01/26/2004 and I-140 pending in EB2 with RFE in the present company A. It is high time for me to shift to company B on H1 transfer as per our understanding.

I do not know at this point when it will be cleared. Presently I am on 7th year extension and left with 2 months for 8th year ext.

My wife (with company B) had her 140 approved (EB3 with PD 2006) and so after the July bulletin filed for 485 (her as primary and me as dependent) because my case seeemed a little dicy. I have one question that whether you can file 2 I-485 or not? Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India strongly believes this, as a well-thought-out strategy to question the status of its state Jammu and Kashmir.

So we both have multiple 485's filed (although the first one since the decision is not final on 140 technically they might not have started considering the 485). Can't change my employer can't change my job profile can't change my address but i know i can change the world so give me my green card Whatever? It has been issuing visas stapled to passports to people from Arunachal Pradesh who have traveled to China since 2007. We have conveyed our concern to the Chinese government in this regard.

Read multiple places that legally you can have only one 485 approved but could have multiple 485 pending and withdraw the other once anyone has been approved. It is our considered view and position that there should be no discrimination against visa applicants of Indian nationality on grounds of domicile or ethnicity.? s not clear when the Chinese started issuing visas on a separate sheet of paper to Indian travelers of Kashmir.

The IO said I should get something in the mail within 10 days of USCIS getting the new medical report.

I immediately went and had my dr resend the medical report with everything filled out.
